Helped out at church yesterday because a camp was leaving the Highlands Christian Centre and another batch of ppl will enter immediately after that! One of the campers has to borrow my late grandmother’s wheelchair to move around during camp coz she injured her leg…
I was helping around at the kitchen when my Sunday School teacher was talking to one of the campers (the campers were from her mother church). She told me later the woman in the wheelchair (who happen to be the elder’s wife) had slipped back at her own house and broke her leg… Her condition required a major operation where she had 17 screws inserted into her leg!!!
My teacher was saying : " Imagine having such a bad fall back in your house… That’s why we really need God’s protection in every step that we take… "
Home… Is a sanctuary… A safe haven (well at least for some of us!) To have such a bad accident in our haven will at least deliver a certain impact to our hearts…
We really do need God’s hand in every decision that we make… In every step that we take… I recently learnt that we really do must keep our faith always in Him!!! In every aspect of our lives! Studies, work, relationships…. Coz He is always faithful…
But there’s a problem whether our faith can withstand the test of time… Coz we tend to be impatient and will take things into our own hands. That’ll disrupt His wonderful plans for us… And for me I’ve done that before… And I felt terribly lost…
Hope I’ll learn more in Him during Camp Cameron!!! And to be candle for the others… (I’m telling the truth!) God, please grant me strength and patience…

PS: Me, my brother and his fren were playing around with the wheelchair after they left… we took turns wheeling each other in the canteen!
Then they went to play ping-pong while I continue to sit in the wheelchair talking to another Sunday School teacher when the other camp ppl arrived and went to the kitchen to find the caretaker. They looked at me and I wonder if they felt pity or amazed at me sitting in a wheelchair at such a young age….. I couldn’t help but felt like laughing…
I wanted to stand up SUDDENLY and yell : "Hey! I can stand!!! IT’S A MIRACLE!!! Hallelujah!!! Praise the LORD!!! "
Yeah…. I need a life…. XD
